Prep is now teaching Advanced Placement (AP) Calculus courses! Students in AP Calculus BC (second semester college calculus) are turning to art to demonstrate their mathematical abilities. Using their knowledge of parametric equations (equations that separate horizontal and vertical motion into separate equations based on the parameter of time, somewhat like an etch-a-sketch with separate controls for horizontal and vertical motion that can each be turned simultaneously to product diagonals and curves), students graphed “Go Jags!” with the online platform Desmos.
