The “Big MAC” is a Deadrise. She is 22 feet 4 inches long, 7 feet 4 inches at her beam, and powered by a 90 hp. 1995 Evinrude outboard. Top speed, 22 knots. She also carries a 6 hp Johnson outboard “kicker” for slow-trolling and emergency use. After he married he pursued his dream of fishing and obtained his Charter Boat Captains License, running trips on the ODD COUPLE. He took many charters for his specialty, cod fish, out of Green Harbor Marina. In 1986 he purchased his cherished BIG MAC, a 35ft. Down-easter and started BIG MAC FISHING ENT, adding commercial fishing to his forte.
